| Information and History Built across from the original Cooperative store (now a supermarket) around 1925, the Co-oP Arcade is still to this day one of Ashington's most impressive buildings despite undergoing numerous external and internal revamps. In the early days for the people of Ashington the store provided high quality goods at low prices as well as paying out a yearly dividend to its customers. | |
